some seasons activities

We are going to campaign and vote for our favourite season. The children have to convince the others to vote for their favourite season!

We also cut and glued pictures to identify the different things that are done in each season (e.g., snowman in winter season).

Using our science kit ordered from the board about seasonal changes, we used thermometers to see the changes in temperature concerning the classroom inside and the cold winter outside! The children are encouraged to make predictions about the temperature. What happens to the red coloured liquid in the thermometer when placed near hot water? cold weather? near the window? outside in the cold?

And we graphed the temperatures to see the differences among them. Which is colder? Which is warmer? Questions we asked the kids to make them curious and think about the world around them!
